We work to strengthen families, develop youth with character, deliver clear Biblical teaching and tell the world about the good news of Jesus Christ.

We provide an environment where those who know Christ can encourage each other and build new friendships and where those who don't yet know Christ can hear of His great love and gift of eternal life.

[fourcol_one] Adults From monthly Men's Prayer Breakfasts and Ladies' Bible Studies, to to singing in choir and playing in the orchestra, to the Men's Softball League and other various activities throughout the year, there are many opportunities to connect with others and get involved. [/fourcol_one] [fourcol_one] Children We provide age appropriate activities to encourage spiritual growth such as Nursery, Sunday School, Children's Church, Kids4Truth, Vacation Bible School, Kids Basketball Club, Camp Horizon, and more! [/fourcol_one] [fourcol_one] Teens We use the unique aspects of the youth ministry to reach young people for the Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen families, and serve in the local church. We have monthly activities, go to summer camp, Bible studies, and outreach opportunities. [/fourcol_one] [fourcol_one_last] School South Side Baptist School exists to train the next generation of Christian young people to effectively communicate the Word of God wherever they go. It provides an outstanding Christ-centered education from a dedicated staff for students from K3-12^th grade. [/fourcol_one_last]

We support missionaries throughout the world that take the gospel message to unreached people. [dropcap]I[/dropcap]n 1975 South Side Baptist Church was burdened to start a Christian school; an institution that would provide an excellent scholastic program, with a strong foundations of biblical truth. To simply build an academic framework would not develop the Christ-like spirit which scripture demands. Therefore, South Side Baptist School has endeavored to draw each student into a proper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. That relationship begins with salvation and is evidenced by  heart of service. With a strong academic structure, reinforced with a proper environment, and taught through the light of God's Word, young people of Christian character can be developed. With this purpose in mind, we constantly work with individual concern for each child realizing the importance and potential of each and every student.
